For a realistic game, our client is searching for a lighting designer who can design effective lighting setups with emotion. The ideal applicant would have worked in AAA games on both the environment and cinematic lighting teams.
The location of this role is flexible. After a two-year restoration, their new office has just begun operations. It is a short distance from stores, restaurants, and bustling downtown.
Our client are a fully autonomous AAA game development studio dedicated to creating action games of the greatest calibre that players will never forget. It was founded by veterans of the industry. They are currently developing our first game, a creative and unique new IP.
Responsibilities
Managing settings for gameplay and cinematics in light-weight games
Work with our lighting pipeline's tech artists and art director.
Make sure that the game's lighting is responsive on PC and consoles.
Requirements
5+ years of gaming lighting artist expertise with a focus on PBR-based pipelines and realistic lighting environments
Delivered a minimum of one AAA game for current consoles
Experience collaborating with the team at every project stage, from conception to completion
Familiarity with shader systems and visual effects
Knowing colour grading and other post-processing effects
Ability to function independently, solve problems quickly, and effectively cooperate with people from different disciplines in a small, fast-moving team
